You are aware that litigations are caused due to negligence.But you may not be totally aware of what leads to negligence .It all starts with basic issues which could be prevented from happening.What are these smaller and basic issues?Some of them are given below:

  • Receptionists :
    Often,while admitting a patient,procedural delays are caused due to your Receptionist chatting with a nurse,ward-boy,aayabai,etc.or talking on your mobile/telephone.At times their behaviour is impolite;they do not give proper and complete information,they do not listen to patient/relatives,billing issues,etc.
  • PRO’s :
    Provide improper and incomplete information,impolite behaviour,etc.
  • RMO’s :
    They poses half knowledge,prescribe/dispense wrong medicine or injection even after taking proper instructions,do not take advice of seniors and try to take charge of the situation i.e. display over-confidence,crosspathy,etc.
  • Nurses :
    Improper documentation/communication,dispense wrong medicine or injection even after taking proper instructions,do not take timely and proper care,busy talking on phone,show irritation or talk rudely when information is sought,etc.
  • Ayabai/Ward-boys/OT attendants,etc:
    Do not replace old/used material with new/fresh ones on time,rude behaviour,denying entry to visitors/relatives,mishandling equipment,machinery,etc.
